Fraud Warning

Steadfast Cargence takes every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we identify companies and individuals using our name, or names confusingly similar to it, without permission. This notice exists so you can tell the difference between us and them.

Why we publish this notice

Fraudsters imitate brands that people trust, because trust does the first half of the work for them. A cloned website, a spoofed email address, or a caller claiming to represent Steadfast Cargence can mislead people into handing over identity documents, account credentials, or deposits that never reach any real account. A public warning cannot stop every attempt, but it can give you the checklist that makes the difference, and it puts our actual practices in writing so that anything contrary stands out.

Cloned companies and lookalike brands

We have seen copies of our website under slightly different domain names, social media profiles using our name and imagery, and messages that mimic our design. If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using our brand, name, or logo, do not provide personal information, do not send money, and notify us immediately at [email protected] with what you saw: the address, the profile, or a screenshot. We work continuously to identify clone operations and have them taken down, and we are realistic about the limits: some clones can remain live for a period before they are detected, so your own check matters more than any takedown count.

How to verify you are dealing with us

  • The only official website domain for this service is steadfast-cargence.org. Reach it by typing the address or using your own bookmark, not by following a link in an unexpected message.
  • We never ask for your password, your two-factor codes, or remote access to your device, by email, phone, or chat. Anyone who does is not us.
  • Our staff will never rush you to move money, keep a transaction secret from family or your bank, or send funds to a personal account to "protect" or "unlock" anything.
  • Events we tell you about by email can always be seen inside your account when you sign in independently. If a message has no matching event in the platform, treat it as hostile.
  • Verification documents are only ever uploaded through the secure flow inside the platform, never sent to an email address or handed to a caller.

What we cannot control

We are aware of cases where our name and the personal details of individuals have been misused for fraudulent purposes in ways we cannot influence or oversee. We sincerely regret the losses suffered by anyone affected by such conduct. To be plain about responsibility: Steadfast Cargence is not liable for fraudulent transactions carried out by impostors claiming to represent us, and we do not compensate losses from funds sent to accounts that are not ours. What we will do is act on every report: warn other users, pursue takedowns, support police reports where we hold relevant records, and answer your bank's verification questions when you ask us to.

If you think you have been targeted

Stop all contact with the counterparty, do not send further funds, and contact your bank immediately if money has moved: banks can sometimes recall recent payments, and speed matters. Report the matter to Report Cyber and, for investment fraud, to Scamwatch. Then tell us at [email protected] so we can check whether any of our systems were involved and preserve anything useful for investigators. If any credentials of yours may have been exposed, change them on every service where you reused them, and see the Security page for the incident route.

Legitimate investment firms are not in a hurry. Urgency, secrecy, and unusual payment routes are the three clearest signs of fraud. When in doubt, hang up, close the tab, and write to us through the official domain before doing anything else.
